You like cars, I like cars! Unlike most folks, I’ve been lucky enough to review them for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel since 1989. Each Saturday my column is teased in the paper’s main section and then appears at www.jsonline.com. That’s where you’ll find my most current review. Here I post my reviews before they were edited for the newspaper website, which means these sometimes are longer than those you’ll see on jsonline. And … because I can, I also include several additional photos with each review here to help shoppers get a better idea of what to expect inside and out.
How do I review cars? I get one weekly from two delivery services that handle all the brands and usually drive a car for a full week. I aim to deliver honest reviews that reflect what the average driver, or buyer, would see and expect in a vehicle. I drive the cars like you would, on city streets, to and from work, the grocery store, etc. I put a high value on ease of use, especially the car’s interior, quality and on styling for the exterior. Plus I have my quirks. I’m a shorter driver at 5-5, and as one of my buddies points out, I LOVE sun visors that slide or have extenders. Read on! … Oh, and if you have a new car question, send it to me at facebook/savageonwheels. I’ll try to answer it ASAP, but realize I DO have a life! Thanks for reading me here or at jsonline.
